Discworld is story, humor, and philosophy all in one. Nowhere else have I been made to laugh so much while being forced to think so much, all while being given a wonderful plot. The closest thing to Pratchett out there is Shakespeare. Yes, really.

Here is my favorite currently working author talking about one of my all-time favorites.

  1.  The Thermals
  2. Cheap girls
  3. The Dresden Files book series. I’m currently on book 8, Proven Guilty.
  4. WWE NXT.  I mean, seriously. Best roster anywhere.  Nakamura, Aries, Samoa Joe, Balor. Great all around, and so much damn fun.
  5.  Dr. Who.  I’m currently watching the main series and all of the side series on Amazon Prime, using this guide.
  6.  Sex Criminals – It’s awesome, trust me.
  7. Anything involving Jon Snodgrass.

So below the fold I’m going to explain the Laundry Files time line, and give a running order for the series—including short stories as well as novels.

One of my favorite series. I recommend everyone read them.
