My new work schedule starts next week. I’m definitely looking forward to it. I’ll come in at 10pm on Sunday night, like normal, the I won’t come back in until 4am on Tuesday morning, then starting Wednesday, I’ll be starting at 8am. I finally get to have a normal life. Hopefully, I won’t feel tired all the time, like I do now.
The weekend is almost here…
So, new guy is within a couple of hours of finishing his first week, and I have no doubt that he’s going to do well. That’s a damn good thing for me, because it means that I will get to my daylight job faster. I never thought I’d be so gung-ho about moving to daylight.
If anyone has a spare couple hundred dollars laying around, feel free to buy me one of these or one of these.

More random stuff
So, the new guy seems to be picking stuff up rather well, and that’s a good thing, because it means I’m closer to getting to daylight. If you would have told me two years ago that I’d be chomping at the bit to get off of 3rd shift, I would have told you you were crazy. My life has taken some amazing turns since then, though, and I’ve never been happier.
It’s pretty sad that with all the people that are in the race for the presidency as of right now, I think the total is close to 18 or something, that there’s only one who I feel would actually make a half-decent president. That’s Ron Paul , of course. What makes it even worse though, is that he probably has very little chance of getting the nomination. The fact that he votes no on anything that comes his way that isn’t specifically listed as a power of the federal government in the constitution, makes him especially noteworthy.
Andrea was sweet, like always, and picked me up a copy of the new Dinosaur Jr. album on Monday. It’s incredibly awesome.
Things are starting to come together
I really feel like we’re starting to make decent headway on the wedding stuff. We got a lot accomplished this weekend, and that felt really good.
My replacement starts tonight (Monday), so I’m getting closer to moving to my new job. I’m hoping that it won’t take me long to train him. I’m not sure how good I’m going to be at training, but I’ll do my best with it. I’m hoping to be in the new job by June at the latest.
We’re still in the same spot with the house. Who knows how long this will take.
I found out Saturday night, that a friend of mine may have some neurological problems. I’m worried about her, but I think she’ll pull through it ok. She has a big 72 hour EEG at the end of the month, and she should know more then, and hopefully it will be something simple.

I’m tired as hell right now.
It sucks that Battlestar Galactica won’t be back on until January. I’ve gotten addicted to it.
My replacement starts Monday, the 6th, so only a couple weeks of training them, and I’ll be on daylight.
I’m really starting to tire of politics. It seems everything is a political issue anymore.
I really wish more national touring bands came to Pittsburgh.
I can’t wait until the stuff with the house gets done. It’s been a long road to get it.
