Dead phone and other random stuff
My phone took an unfortunate tumble into an inch of water today. Luckily, we purchased the insurance when we bought the phone, and it covers water damage, so another G1 will be waiting for me when I get home tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like my phone is my only true connection to the outside world, and I’m rather attached to it. Some of the guys at work know this, and were joking that I should be on a suicide watch until I get my new one. I don’t think I’m that dependent on it, but apparently some people do.
The new Leatherface album is pretty damn awesome. It’s called The Stormy Petrel, and is their first album since Dog Disco in 2004. It’s been too long.
Our Saturn has been in the garage for a while now. We should be picking it up tomorrow. I’m glad that my parents live close and that they have 3 cars so we have one we can borrow. We’d be screwed without that.
Being snowed in…
is incredibly awesome. I love the fact that no one expected me to be anywhere or do anything today. It was a great day around the house. I think Andrea and I both needed it.
As you can see…
things are still a work in progress around here. I think I like the theme that I’ve installed now. It’s very plain, but very much my style. I’ve been doing rather well with the regular posting as well, but it’s only been a couple of days, and it’s all been site related stuff. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep up a more regular posting routine. Â I feel like I need to, because I’m paying for the site.
On wordpress
As much as I liked drupal, it was very overkill for a personal blog site. I thought about going back to textpattern, but wordpress is much more common, and supported.

Welcome to attackofhubris 3.0. We’ll see how this goes. I’ve completely started over, and I’m going to try to keep a more consistent posting schedule. There are still more changes to come.
